wait for me?

Released: January 1, 2024

lyrics

Won’t you wait for me?
(mhm)
Won’t you wait for me?

Won’t you wait for me?
(Ooh won’t you wait for me?)
(mhm)
Won’t you wait for me?

I cannot deny
Every time that I
Follow all you do
I fall harder for you
I’ve lost the words to say
But I’m so glad you came

Well I’m so glad you came
Well I’m so glad you came

Won’t you wait for me?
(Won’t you wait for me?)
(Won't you wait for me?)
(mhm)
Won’t you wait for me?

(mhm)
Won’t you wait for me?

For me

about

Just like LEXI, wait for me? wonders why the writer is attracted to and seemingly attached to the subject of the song.

There is a clear longing in this relationship. An obsession.

The lyricism seems to imply that this relationship is something the writer has been waiting for and now he has it.

It never happened and never will.
