lyrics

Take a snapshot with the flash on (yeah, yeah)
Take a snapshot with the flash on (yeahhh)
Take a snapshot with the flash on (yeah)
Take a snapshot with the flash on, onnnnn

Only what you want (okay)
All what you made up (okay)
See her in the dark
Only in your heart
(your heart)

I just wanna see,
I wanna see
What you & me,
what it could be
(so)
So take a snapshot & make it last longggg

about

Directly referencing real-life experiences, this track uses the word "snapshot" to allude to photos taken together and—on the other side—a delusional hope to return to that time.

There is more than one figure connected to snapshot, though the true subject is the figure that goes further back in time with the writer, over ten years before.
